2020 June 17th with Peter and JJ

Launched in Werribee with Peter and old man JJ and we decided to give deep water a try. We when straight to 22m depth and nothing but millions of flattys. The we moved to get some squid at Prince George. We managed quiet few and the size was “small”. From there St Leonards whiting was our next mission. At first, plenty fish, but, small. We put back over 30 fish. Just on sunset the bigger fish turned up. We managed to keep around a dozen at around 40cm. Best bait squid strips, and at first best rig was running rig. Later the paternoster rig started to shine. Cheers
