2020 Feb 22nd – Point Cook

Saturday afternoon I was desperate to test the boat as I just got the hydraulic lift replaced. It was choppy but we head out to Point Cook and try to get some slimmys for Sunday morning snapper session. We anchored in 9m straight out from Campbells cove but my anchor would not hold. As we drifted, we managed few slimmys, a nice pike, and Jerry managed few nice flattys.
Hour later, being smash around the boat we decided to get out.
One more thing – from time to time check the winch pole as my one was cracked and lucky enough the guys from Micks marine picked up. The freaking thing is only 3mm thick, and it split.
