2019 Dec 20th – Fishing around Kirks

Today (friday 20th) 4am, we where looking for snapper from Wedge Spit all the way to Portarlington Old Channel. We scanned, we try, but all we got is about 7 pups. Mixed – gummy and school shark – but no keepers. Lots of banjos around that makes it hard to catch a decent fish. We spend an hour at the Old Channel, but as per on of the picture – nothing. No even pinky’s around to still our bait. Few slimmy mackerel and that was it. We where back at the ramp by 11am. No fish but a great day on the water! Cheers Happy Fisherman
