2019 25th Sep fishing St Leonards

We went for an afternoon session chasing whiting but it was hard work. We managed a dozen but we went thru 3 bags of pippies and lots of squid strips. Whiting was a bit bigger, but less numbers. Our friend Jeff was there as well and they managed close to 30 – but he said as well that it was hard work. As per footage the key is to move around, find some sand patches, because if you are just on top of the grass, leather jackets will smash your bait in a second. Another tip is to check your line every 2 minutes as it will be full of slimy grass. Cheers Happy fisherman
