2019 18th September - Mud Island

We took of for bit of sound around Mt Martha. I sounded both sides of the channel for snapper, but no much happening. Then we took of to mud island and it was very promising. We had gurnard, flatty’s, banjo’s and port jackson action non-stop, but no gummy. By 3pm i was heading to St Leonards for whitting. We stopped at mud island shallow side to get some fresh squid for bait. At St Leonards few boats around. We managed 8 KGW, but the action was very slow. By 6pm we where on the way back to Werribee ramp. Cheers, Happy Fisherman
