After a long holiday in Europe i took of for a quick session at St Leonards yesterday around 3pm. Tide was going out and i have to say we had no luck at all chasing whitting. Around 4.30 we decided to get some squid at the red marker in front of main pier – and we managed few. As per video water was just brilliant and while the sun was up it was pleasant. By 6 already started to be cold so we took of. Best Jigs where still the Shimano white (T14) and Yamashita in pure black. Very slow lift and drop worked this time. Normally fast jigging worked better at that spot, but, not this time. Cheers, Happy fisherman!!!
