2018 Dec 19th Portarlington

Late afternoon we left for Portarlington and stopped at the old channel edge. As we got there we managed a nice snapper. After that, pinky after pinky but nothing worth keeping. Around  7pm We went down to Wedge Spit and fish for king george whitting along 100+ other boats. We managed few and at the same time on the big rod we managed a gummy. We had few more gummys but to small to keep, and the usual banjos and rays. At about 9pm, just we where about to pack, we hooked a gummy that tangled all the other rods, and funny enough managed to sling-shot a nice Daiwa tournament combo straight out of rod holder. we tried to retrieve it but no luck.
