Just for a change – holiday in Lakes Entrance lots of active fishing. First day just past Kalimna inside the lake lots of tailor and few salmon. All on soft plastic. Tailor not they big 25cm-32cm. Today over the bar and straight out for 8-9 km. Water so perfect that we did not even anchor. 36m if water, served variety of bait from squid to pilchard to yesterday salmon. Lots of Sargent baker, lots of gurnard and the pinkys and snapper started. We got back with 11, biggest only 2.5kg. Wobbie sharks gave us hard time and bringing them up was like a bag of potato’s. Back on the ramp few more guys where cleaning gummy’s , a hammer head, and one snapper was around 7-8kg.
