I took of with my son around 5 pm from werribee and had of to portalington Channel. It was a rough ride but we got there. Waves 1-2 m and it took us few goes to anchor. For an hour nothing and then pinky after pinky. Some really nice size in high 30s. We took couple and realize over forty. To make everything more interesting on the small road we managed to get “silver whitting”. I did not believe that they exist in PPB. Then we got the second one. We got them on paternoster with small long shank hooks on the very small piece of fresh salmon meat. By 9 pm see-lice was on so we left – happyfisherman
