2017 august 22 Point Cook

Out at 10 am from Werribee and straight to Point Cook around Campbells Cove to try for some squid. Water was clear as a daylight and forget it i took off to 10m line to get some flattys and maybe a gummy. Weather was brilliant and we driffted for some time and we got few nice flattys. Funny enough flattys where very slow so when i want it to move to another spot and my Suzuki 140 f/s wouldn’t start. I just re-filed at Shell but looks like some dirt block the fuel filter. Well i got towed by Police boat back to Werribee south. On the way there just in front of Werribee marina thousand of birds start to go bannana diving. Salmon everywhere – and i was watching. Oh well, That’s life. Still great to be on the water – Happy fisherman!!!!
