2019 July 5th fishing Mud Island – day 2

Day “2” at mud island. Left Werribee ramp at 9 and as we approached mud island “fog”. We start drifting for squid and we hit the limit in 25 min. All sizes with biggest 30cm hood. Best jig this time was a shimano saphire 08t rattle and my yamasita solid black was second. Then we took of to gummy mark in 12m of water but no luck. We did try everything but port Jackson after port Jackson followed by banjo we decided to fish the sun set at Portarlington but pinky’s where like piranhas. It was getting dark and cold, so we left.
