2019 Jan 10th – Happy Fisherman At Apollo Bay

Just a quick report around state. Yesterday we left PointCook at 3 am straight for Apollo bay. By 7am we where at 30m depth in front of Ottaway light house. Bit rough tide on the Ovi’s 5.8TAB, but nothing to worry about. As we got there we started – 2 gummy’s, few Nanny’s, Snook, big flattys, nice pinky’s and huge slimmys and parrot fish. One of Patton’s was over 3kg (on steroids). We shifted few times as we did search for kings but no luck! All in all great trip, lots of fish and a great day out – even some of us felt a bit sick. Definitely worth trying! Cheers happy fisherman!!!
